February 2020 Newsletter

We hope your kids had a lot to tell you about last month as we learned about winter, snow, and arctic animals. The children had a blast making all their penguins, snowmen, and walrus masks in art. The bulletin boards in the hallway have never looked better!

In February we will study “winter holidays” and the “Chinese New Year” for our monthly themes. Our Valentine’s Day parties will be Thursday and Friday, February 13th and 14th early in the mornings if you can sign up to help? If your child will attend on Thursday have 17 valentine’s with just your kid’s name on them, and If you’ll be coming Friday bring 11 valentines. Now is a great time to register for Kindergarten if your child will be leaving Sunrise after the Summer, and remember to register for after school enrichment ASAP because the spaces fill quickly. Make sure your child has snow clothes and waterproof gloves at school since it’s dumping snow this month. We’ll be closed for the federal holiday on February 17th for President’s Day, and there’s a parent’s night out on Saturday, February 22nd from 3-7pm.
