January 2019 Newsletter
The Sunrise staff hopes you all had a bright and memorable holiday! We celebrated “Holidays Around the World” last month and learned so much about different traditions and cultures at school. The children made festive art and got visits from a bunch of guest speakers including Santa!
The classroom has been transformed into a kelp forest as we move onto our “Ocean” theme for January. The first week the kids will do “Winter” art, and do some sledding in the playground in the snow so please make sure your child has snow gear that’s labeled with their names at school. We’ll be closed on Monday, January 21st for Martin Luther King Day. Please introduce yourselves to our new staff member Miss Jen and welcome her to the Sunrise family. Finally, please let us know your plans for 2019 registration at Sunrise so we can keep your child on the roster for this fall.
Cheers,
Misses Melissa, Dana, Jen, & Mr. Nick.
