December 2014 Newsletter

The kids have been busy in November learning about space for curriculum and visiting the planetarium at the University of Colorado.

There were so many guest visitors last month to teach us about owls, bats, and bears. The local fireman also visited Sunrise to show off their truck and say hello!

We planted some bulbs in the garden getting ready for colder weather, and learned about sharing in a story called "Hugen and His Carrot."

This December the theme for school will celebrate the winter holidays around the world. Here's this months events and dates:

December 4th: Diwali December 11th: Santa Lucia December 18th: Italian Christmas with special guest "La Befana" December 22nd & 23rd: English Christmas December 25th and 26th: School closed for the holidays December 29th & 30th: Kwanza

***ALSO: Parent's night outs will be on the 13th and 20th of December
