November 2018 Newsletter

The kids learned some interesting facts about owls, bats, and bears in October that we hope they shared with you. We had a fun and busy month at our Halloween parties and parade through the gym. We want to give a big Sunrise thank you to all the parent volunteers who mad our pumpkin and ghost snacks!

This month our space unit begins the first week of November. The Fiske Planetarium will bring their mobile dome to our gym and teach us about the solar system on November 28th and 29th. The children will present a felt board story about sharing called, Hugin and His Carrot, on November 14th and 15th, and all parents and extended family are invited to watch. The school will be closed Monday, November 12th for Veteran’s Day, Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving, and Friday, November 23rd (the day after Thanksgiving). There’s a kid’s movie night happening Saturday, November 3rd from 4-8pm if you need a night out.
